When you first open the app, it downloads the complete English content package (typically 10–20MB) in the background. This includes all flashcard images, all audio files for every English word, and all game data. From that moment on, the app never needs to contact the internet again during regular use. Content updates — new categories, refreshed audio — are downloaded automatically when your device is connected, but the existing content never stops working if connectivity drops.
